I'm sorry if this is weird, but I'm on a psychic experiences website so it's probably ok. For the past year I've been having what I call "episodes". I thought they were a mental illness symptom because I have depression and anxiety, but my therapist isn't sure what they are. I'm hit with an odd feeling, and then for a few seconds I see something. Once I was at a shop (I think a pet shop) and I worked there (not like I myself, but I was looking through the eyes of a worker) and my coworker, a girl, was angry at me. Another time I was in a group and embarrassed and one of the boys in my group was making fun of me (for some reason it felt like a real life D&D campaign, like we're going on a mission and the teasing is really not that mean). Lately it's been the same tiny snippet of him saying something, too quick to know what.

There's a lot more but I've forgotten them and some are too fast to catch. It's like looking through someone else's eyes for just one moment. I never remember faces, but I remember backgrounds, like the shop has lavender things and the sky is blue when the boy is talking. It only lasts a few seconds, less than a second sometimes, then it's over and I feel nauseous, and everything feels unreal for a few minutes, and I can have a headache for hours after. My friend said they might be visions, but if so they aren't prophetic. Nothing like them has happened. Am I crazy? Can anyone tell me what I'm seeing? I've read about similar stuff on here, I just want an answer.

Hi, sorry if this topic has been discussed before but have any of you ever had a reading with a psychic that was downright rude to you?

I just wondered if anyone on here has ever tried a line called "The Circle of Professional Clairvoyants"?

It's not my place to say don't do it, even though that's exactly what I want to scream but has anyone ever spoken to a guy called Paul from the Circle of Professional Clairvoyants? I think he's based in Liverpool, he clearly reads from a script cos he says the same old shite each and every time, in my case (once he's taken my start sign and area I'm calling from) he proceeds with "bla bla bla and if you're a Gemini I know you won't have any trouble speaking your mind" or some rubbish like that.

Again I went on reputation and although he was rubbish, I gave him the benefit of the doubt twice more so I only spoke to him three times in total and he was still rubbish. But what really got me is how absolutely, incredibly, undenyablly and unacceptably rude he was!!!! Seriously, I don't think I have had anyone talk like this to me in my LIFE let alone some stranger at the end of the phone telling me how I should and should not think. For example, if I said, "oh I find doing X difficult cos he makes me feel awkward", he would literally scream at me and say "NO NO NO NO NO!!!!! He does not MAKE you feel awkward you ALLOW him to make you feel awkward, don't you?!!!!". When I'd eventually say " er yeah" he'd then go on a rant asking me "well why did you blame him for then? You just said he MADE you feel awkward when that's not true is it?!, so the problem is not with him, it's with YOU isn't it?!?!?". I thought and still think this guy is an @rsehole! But it would be good to know if anyone has ever spoken to him or if you have any takes of psychics being rude to you or making you feel inferior. I used to be left reeling after the call but now that I am not so vulnerable I think back wonder how I ever let him get away with it.

Before I start sorry for such a long story it's just I really need some help I feel like I can't control my feelings or what's going on around me.

Over the years I have had certain intuitions and dreams that have come true or premonitions but recently they have been getting more intense and im having a lot. I don't know what is happening but I feel my anger is hurting people around me I will give you examples my boyfriend went away for the weekend and I had dreams while I was awake of dying of cancer. I felt sad when I thought about it and broken and felt the boys and my boyfriends pain that night my boyfriends friend his mum passed away from cancer I didn't know that she was at that stage of her cancer I knew nothing.
The next time I had an intense dream of a school shooting like I was there that day I heard on the news that at the time of my dream I'm another country there had been a school shooting with many injured it was weird and creepy, now lately I've been having intense dreams that I can't understand. i was on the train and thought about a girl I hated si much it made me pissed off I remembered this girl as I had an argument about her with my bf 8 months ago why was I thinking about her now. When I got home I looked at my instagram to see he had followed her and I was fuming at him we had an argument and said some bad words to each other. I went to bed woke up and didn't say anything to him I hated him in my head while I was at work I hoped something bad happened to him I didn't mean it I was mad, when I got home I found out he got arrested for assaulting someone which it turns out his dad was there and he didn't do it I feel like my thoughts came true.

Then the next day bearing in mind I haven't seen a fire truck in almost a year I had an intense feeling about them and one drove past me 4 minutes later it was the weirdest moment ever.

The last feeling I got was that I was thinking about someone who did me wrong all the hatred was in my heart as it grew it starred raining which was unusual as it shouldn't have been raining at that time P's I said a prayer into my worry doll and cleared the negative thoughts towards my boyfriend and lit some incense I now got a call to say the police have the person who committed the crime so my boyfriend has been released now. I don't know it I'm going crazy but I feel all these emotions sometimes I'm taking on other peopke like an empath would it's stressful and annoying

Hi all.

I have had two strange, if not weird readings with Fiona - Elizabeth Rose. The second reading was even stranger as she insisted that my boyfriend is gay and this is cause of our problems. He was bemused when I asked him about it, I for sure know that he is 100% straight. My concern is that such readers can destroy a good thing because they plant a destructive seed of doubt in your head. Joyce Senfe was distraught when her husband walked out after 56 years of marriage. She was desperate to know if he’d return.

So she went online and did a search for “Christian psychic.” That’s how Senfe, who lives in Brooksville, Fla., ended up on the phone recently with Los Angeles-based Psychic Readings by Lauren.

“Lauren was very sympathetic,” Senfe, 81, told me. “We talked for quite a bit. She said I shouldn’t worry, that he’ll come back. But she said he was surrounded by evil spirits and that first he needed to get rid of them.”

As luck would have it, that was a service Lauren could provide — for $900. And if things didn’t work out, Senfe said she was informed, her money would be returned.

You know where this is going. Senfe wired the money to a Wells Fargo bank account here in the Southland. Her husband hasn’t come back. And now Senfe is hitting a brick wall in being reimbursed.

I don’t mind saying upfront that I generally regard professional psychics with a heavy dollop of caveat emptor.

If ever there was a gig rife with potential deception, it’s charging people money for purported glimpses into the future or afterlife, or offering advice based on the insights of dead loved ones.

The U.S. market for “psychic services” is worth about $2 billion annually, according to market researcher IBISWorld.

I acknowledge that many people take this stuff seriously. So instead of reaching out to a like-minded skeptic, I decided to see what true believers had to say.

I wanted the psychic industry’s thoughts on how consumers can protect themselves from being duped.

“Unfortunately, there are a lot of con artists out there,” said Shay Parker, founder of Best American Psychics, an online directory of seers who reportedly undergo testing and criminal background checks. “It’s actually quite disturbing.”

She said bogus psychics specialize in teasing information out of clients and then telling them what they want to hear, typically in the realms of love or money.

“A good psychic will tell you to shut up,” Parker said. “If they start asking you a ton of questions, run.”

She said a true psychic also will offer highly specific information without any prompting — the name of a deceased family member, say, or a detailed physical description.

“You might be asked if the name Phillip means anything to you,” Parker said. “But you shouldn’t provide a lot of information. It’s their job to know what Phillip died of or what he looked like.”

I related Senfe’s experience. Parker said she’s heard similar stories all too often.

“If a psychic ever says you’re cursed or have a negative entity attached to you, it’s a con,” she said. “If anyone offers to cast a spell, it’s a con. No psychic can make someone do something.”

There also seems to be a you-get-what-you-pay-for aspect to this business. A storefront psychic might charge as little as $25 for a reading. A higher-profile practitioner’s time can run in the hundreds of dollars — if you can book an appointment.

I called the cellphone of Michelle Beltran, who was named 2017 Psychic of the Year by Best American Psychics.

“How did you get this number?” she asked suspiciously.

“Would you believe me if I said I’m psychic?”

“How did you get it?” she repeated.

I admitted I had a researcher at the newspaper scour some of our databases. Beltran, who charges up to $405 for a 45-minute session, said she was too busy to chat.

I had more luck with Jusstine Kenzer, who held the top ranking in a Yelp search of best psychics in Los Angeles. She charges $375 a session.

“Be cautious about walking into any storefront with a neon sign,” Kenzer advised. “If anyone asks you for money to remove hexes or spells or negative energy, forget it. No true psychic is going to do anything like that.”

Also, don’t just settle for a peek into the spirit world. A good psychic will serve as your guide to the supernatural.

“Anyone can give you information.” Kenzer said. “What you’re looking for is whether that information can help you grow in life. It’s about inspiring and healing and comforting you.”

Psychics aren’t licensed or overseen by any government agency. But they can run afoul of the law when their business practices lean more toward greed than growth.

In 2002, the Miss Cleo psychic hotline paid $5 million to settle charges that it misled customers with promises of free psychic readings. According to the Federal Trade Commission, only the first few minutes were free.

After that, it would cost $4.99 a minute, and company employees were instructed to keep people on the line for as long as possible, often up to an hour.

"You don't need a crystal ball to know that the FTC will continue to stop unfair and deceptive trade practices," an agency official said at the time. "We want consumers to know that when companies make a promise in an ad, they need to deliver."

I found a handful of online reviews for Psychic Readings by Lauren (a.k.a. True Love Psychic Reader), with some clients saying they too felt taken advantage of.

A woman named Cassie complained last year that she was instructed to pay $1,000 to remove a “spiritual block” that was hampering her love life. Cassie said she paid $100, which she was told would be refunded if things didn’t improve. Apparently she never saw that money again.

Another client said she was instructed last year to pay $125 to remove “a negative curse” preventing her from meeting Mr. Right. When that didn’t work, she was told to withdraw $7,000 from the bank and sleep with it in her bed along with a dozen red roses and a picture of herself.

The client demurred, fearing that her spiritual advisor would “send some guys to rob me.”

While I was interviewing Kenzer, I asked her to use her psychic powers to determine what was up with Psychic Readings by Lauren.

After a moment’s consideration, she said it “seems to me that it’s going to be hard for you to connect with them.”

No one at Psychic Readings by Lauren returned my calls or email.

hope you are all well? You may remember last November I undertook an experiment to find out whether or not some of these so called psychics you are using are real or fake! My experiment was to buy a load of minutes (which cost me) try different readers out using fake situations to see if these readers would fall for it. My God, it was so easy, almost too easy. Altogether I tried no less than 20 READERS.

I made up a fictitious relationship, name and situation and a non-existant person who died. EVERY SINGLE READER fell for this and gave me some scripted crap, going into this fake persons mind, telling me his problems. I was told I had a love rival after this guys affections yet he does not exist. THIS IS EVIDENT THAT THESE READERS ARE FAKE:

Marina, Dee Wells,, Angie, Asha, Paul G, Lizzie, Rosie, Cara Brown, Michelle, Kesa, Dominic, Grace Marie, Ricky, Willow, A Marie, Soleil, Crystal 4110, Valentine, Andrea, Michalarose.

There is no such person in my life nor anybody who bears any resemblance to this fictitious character. I am married, have been for a number of years with a family. The situation and name of the guy was false as was everything else I gave about my fake life. THEY ALL fell for it, the readings were different yet still contained the same standard lines. I recorded every single reading and who knows what I shall do with it. I would like to add that they all said I had been unlucky in love, going through emotional turmoil etc.

I can't take this further legally because of the disclaimer. These readers are fakes and earning quick money on others suffering.

I have only tried Psychic Sofa readers as these seem to be the readers most of you guys are using. I may try Kooma in the future. I've shown my report to the 'Skeptic Society.'

Dear all

What I struggle with is that I cannot believe that (whatever higher source you believe in, whether it be God, Angels, Our spirit guides and helpers, lost loved ones etc). Why would any of them want you to have to spend so much money to find advice about your spiritual pathway. Is there not another way? Surely they would not agree with us being exploited financially trying to find our answers, as that can be unethical and I don't think the universe would want this. By trying to find guidance through others we don't know what to believe and if the others we consult are channelling us correctly and whether or not they are charlatans and opportunists trying to earn a living from others and would pass on any message as per a random throw of cards using generic meanings. Another aspect by consulting others - can you trust them and are messages affected by their own values and beliefs when passing guidance to you? I would have thought the information should be accessible from the divine source ourselves directly as long as we have good intentions for others and ourselves.

Does anyone believe you can access the divine directly yourself with good intentions? .. I cannot believe spirit would want us to pay money with the risk of being exploited

I have had a few readings on Psychic Sofa, Ask the Answer @ Michelle Knight just to try these out. Only a couple of readers have been genuine picking up my situation and personal details early in the call yet there have been some I've had to put the phone down and ask for a refund as I have been greeted with the same generic crap that is a waste of my time and money.

Think of it! If a reader can't pick up your personal situation early on in the call then they are no good...I am not just talking about the wishy-washy phrases I'm talking about statements that blow you away. Perhaps many of you on here have not had the good fortune to experience what a proper reading should be???

I would highly recommend readings with Buddha on Keen.com She was the most amazing clairvoyant, medium, psychic, energy worker # very in depth in which she knew events, people, etc which was creepy. You instinctively KNOW when a reader has hit the right note because it really has an effect on you. Her reading made my hair stand up and my initial reaction was *WOW* how did she know that??? It was very strange...
